About
What is Bayview Junction?
I created Bayview Junction trains as an outlet initially for my 3D printed O scale designs, but it has become much more than that over time. As a subsidiary of my wife’s creative outlet, Heidi’s Haus, we have access to a laser engraver opening the door for customized drinkware, leather patches, as well as lasercut benchwork and trackwork. An interest in woodworking has added display cases to our repertoire.
We hope you enjoy taking a look around, and hopefully there’ll be something that you will find useful for your model railroading or supportive of your wider railroading hobby interests.
Cheers,
Robin
For those with an interest in O scale Proto 48 / P48 model railroading, my blog documenting my adverntures in modeling the Guelph (Ontario) north industrial spur, dual-serviced trackage by Ontario Southland and Goderich & Exeter Railways, is archived here. Blog posts will be infrequent to non-existent as I have made the switch to modeling in S scale as of February, 2022.
Going further back in time, I started a layout based on CN’s spur line from Waterloo to Elmira, ON. My journey through the design & construction of this HO scale layout, and the background behind my transition to O scale P48 model railroading, can be explored via this blog link.
