This handy sub-frame fits inside the Atlas ) SW8/9/1200 diesel locomotive shells with little to no modifications required.
Designed to provide a mounting surface for an upward- or downward-firing Tangband speaker as well as a Nix Decoder Buddy for those using “HO” scale decoders. If using a “large scale” decoder, leaving off the Decoder Buddy still leaves a nice, stable area to mount your decoder and to allow for clean routing of wires.
